Overview
This education is designed to educate RN's in heart failure. After this course, learners will be able to explain the pathophysiology of heart failure, identify common risk factors leading to heart failure, identify common signs and symptoms of heart failure, explain the process of assessing and diagnosing heart failure, identify non-pharmacological interventions for managing heart failure, identify pharmacological interventions for managing heart failure, identify common durable medical equipment related to heart failure, facilitate effective team-based care through appropriate referrals and collaboration, educate patients on self-management skills related to heart failure, explain basics of insurance coverage and financial assistance resources, document per standards, including care plans and SMART goals, and identify routine health maintenance for the heart failure patient.

At the conclusion of this activity, learners will be able to:
