Community Grand Rounds: Transforming Healthcare to Advance Health Equity Module

In 2020, Corewell Health launched its health equity journey. In this presentation, Dr. Rishi Manchanda will discuss the need for structural transformation to achieve health equity and a framework that is being used to inform Corewell's health equity journey. He will also describe methods and processes used to estimate the value (or return on investment) that accrues to health equity work.

1. Recognize the importance of stratifying data.
2. Assess what is required for transformational action for health equity.
3. Recognize the distinction between return on investment (ROI), value on investment (VOI), and social return on investment (SROI).
4. Recognize the importance of collaborating with community health and government/legislative affairs teams to advance health equity.
