Sepsis, An Emergent Situation is a comprehensive review of Sepsis, Severe Sepsis, and Septic shock. This presentation is a platform to discuss the identification and best practice treatment of the septic patient that leads to positive patient outcomes.

1. Analyze patient indcators, symptoms, and results based on CME SEP-1 guidelines for early identification of a progressing sepsis diagnosis
2. Apply CME SEP-1 Sepsis best practices of care leading to the stabilization of the patient condition
3. Use the sepsis order set to identify proper treatment plans for the septic patient leading to positive patient outcomes
