AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™ (8.50 hours), Non-Physician Attendance (8.50 hours)

The Pediatric Fundamental Critical Care Support Course is a two day learning opportunity to teach recognition, stabilization, and initial management of critically ill pediatric patients prior to their transport to a pediatric ICU. This class is a combination of didactic lecture and simulations.

1. Prioritize assessment needs
2. Appropriate diagnostic test selection
3. Identify & respond to significant changes in the unstable pediatric patient
4. Recognize & initiate management of acute life-threatening conditions
5. Determine the need for expert consultation and/or patient transfer, and prepare the practitioner for optimally accomplishing transfer

Spectrum Health Hospitals designates this Live Activity for a maximum of 8.50 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

 

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations received in writing no less than 20 days before the course will be refunded, less a 20% administrative fee. No refunds will be made on cancellations received after that date. Please send cancellation requests to [email protected].

Spectrum Health reserves the right to cancel or postpone this program if necessary; in the event of cancellation, course fees will be fully refunded. We are not responsible for other costs incurred such as non-refundable airline tickets or hotel penalties.
