I See You Move: Early Mobility in the PCCU and Mass Transfusion Protocol

Participants will attend a virtual lecture identifying importance of early mobility in ICU pediatric patients and mass transfusion protocol. The lecture will cover requirements of patients prior to mobilization and also benefits of early mobilization.

1. RN's will be able to describe PICU acquired complications related to decrease mobility while intubated.
2. RN's will apply interventions designed to minimize PICU complications related to decreased mobility while in the PICU
3. RN's will summarize early mobility and rehabilitation activities for PICU patients with a focus on safety and interdisciplinary teamwork.
4. RNs will describe the process for activation of MTP
5. RNs will explain the proper documentation for blood products during MTP
6. RNs will describe the process for termination of MTP
