Workshop three is focused on developing common language, methods, and tools for quality improvement. The workshop will educate attendees to effectively engage patients and families in improvement. Attendees will learn about project management tools and how they can increase the effectiveness of quality improvement projects. Finally, attendees will learn how to sustain and spread achieved improvements in other areas.

1. Develop common language, methods, and tools for quality improvement.
2. Describe skills needed for leaders, managers, and team members to effectively engage patients and families in improvement activities
3. Recognize how project management tools can increase the efficiency and effectiveness of QI Projects
4. Assemble plans to sustain and spread improvements realized through QI Projects

Spectrum Health Hospitals designates this Live Activity for a maximum of 8.00 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
