According to the Bureau of Labor Statistic, Healthcare Staff are being assaulted at a higher rate than any other profession. This course aims to improve the staff member’s awareness of potentially dangerous situations and encourages staff to reduce their exposure to these situations.

1. Demonstrate proper positioning in a room.
2. Articulate when and what additional resources/assistance are needed in an escalating situation and how to obtain the additional assistance.
